Castle Secrets Tours

Castle-in-the-Sky
On Saturday, May 19, 2012, in celebration of National Historic Preservation Month, Thunderbird Lake Tahoe will partner with Nevada’s State Historic Preservation Office to present special curator’s tours and lectures at Thunderbird Lodge describing the inner workings of Lake Tahoe’s Castle-in-the-Sky. Learn the intricacies of maintaining Nevada’s only historic house museum estate at Lake Tahoe.

Light snacks and beverages will be served. First tour and lecture begins at 10 AM, the second at 2 PM. Each will last approximately two hours. A light jacket and comfortable walking shoes are suggested.

Tickets are $45 per person and advance reservations are required. Parking will be limited so we request carpooling, if possible, to the site. Driving directions will be included in your confirmation email.
